Throughout the year we run holiday courses and lessons to help children consolidate their term-time learning, to work on areas of weakness or to stimulate what is already an area of strength or interest.
Find out more about the types of school holiday sessions we run throughout the year. All courses and workshops are booked via our online booking system below. These courses fill up fast, so book now to avoid missing out. All individual lessons are booked via the office.
October half term and Christmas holiday workshops and lessons focus on exam revision for children taking 7+ to 11+ exams and pre-tests.
During the October half term we run courses over two mornings, covering English, Maths and Reasoning.
Pre-Christmas we offer a series of after-school subject workshops for 11+ and individual revision lesson opportunities for entrance exam takers of all ages.
Mock interviews are held during the autumn term. These are one-hour sessions with a specialist experienced in interviewing children of this age.
Use the Easter break for extra revision support for A-level, GCSE, and Common Entrance. We teach children on an individual basis in a wide range of subjects. All lessons need to be booked via the office. Please telephone 020 8487 9517 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Easter is also the time for our Maths and Literacy course for children in Years 2-6. For more information and to book a place see our online booking form below.
The long summer holiday is a great opportunity for children to advance, consolidate and revise, and is especially important to keep up momentum for children preparing for entrance exams. Children’s holiday courses balance learning with a fun slant that is just right for the summer break.
We offer the following:
- 11+ Exam workshops
- Tiffin workshops
- 7+/8+ workshops
- Two-day Creative Writing course
Drama workshop new for 2019
- Half-day courses on study skills, problem solving, mind mapping and more!
The summer holiday provides an ideal time for children to make progress away from the demands of the normal busy term time. Individual lessons can be arranged throughout the summer with one of the members of our team, including specialist teachers from our Laidlaw Hall team.
We also offer a distance-learning correspondence course, for those away for the summer.
